happy birthday june & a pink princess party
At three years old:
You loved... anything pink, dresses & dress up, shoes, princesses, coloring, chalk, bubbles, dogs, flowers, painting your nails, singing, and dancing.
Your personality... social, very strong willed, silly, stubborn, sassy, high drama, funny, hot and cold, a day dreamer, extremely girly but tough just like your brothers.
Happy 3rd birthday June bug! You are a real peach, and we love you so, so much sweet baby girl!

With close friends and family, we celebrated June turning 3! All of the little ladies joined her by dressing in their princess best. The sweets table had pretty cake pops, iced sugar cookies, and pink strawberry cupcakes! I also set up a table full of accessories for the princesses to wear and take home. Right next to the table, we hung a mirror on a tree that I found from a garage sale for $3. Joe spray painted it pink.
It was a really great day celebrating with June! She got so many new dress up outfits and accessories, new clothes and shoes, purses, and dolls. I am so thankful to be surrounded by such wonderful family and friends. Thank you to all that was there and celebrated with us!
I was so busy the entire party, that I didn't really get to capture very much. And the pictures I did take were terrible! My settings were all jacked up, and I still don't have a clue how to use it or editing software yet. It kinda makes me sick that I hardly got any of the girls in their dresses. It was just too hard to juggle everything. Here are some of the best I got:

summer happenings
We've spent a lot of time the last couple of weeks with The Schrock side. Daylen, Ari, and June got a lot of cousin playtime in. We even spent a little time with Logan and Emilie while they were home for a few days!
Joe has been working so hard on the swing set/play fort for the kids this past month. It's just about done! I am always so impressed at how handy he really is. The wonderful thing about it is, we will be using the posts and the wood to build a garden shed when the kids are done with it. We will try to repurpose mostly all of the wood, and sell the swing set accessories. So happy he decided to build it himself. The kids will always have the memories playing on that, and knowing their pops designed and built it.
I've been working in my first garden, and have really enjoyed seeing things come to life and grow. I planted corn, tomatoes, sweet peppers, green beans, onions, cabbage, brussel sprouts, radishes, peas, lettuce, broccoli, carrots, squash, cucumbers, watermelon, and strawberries. It has been trial and error, since I know very little about vegetable gardening, but it all seems to be doing well so far!
The kids summer break started last week! Yay! No schedules, and sleeping in! They've mostly been playing outside ALL day long- eating lunches at their new picnic table, riding bikes, playing in the sprinkler and blow up pool, digging in the dirt pile, playing hide n seek, chalk, climbing trees, and lots of trips to get ice cream of course. We took a trip to the park last week and met up with our BF's, Alli and Naomi, played, had a picnic, and took a walk! Life is good in the summer, right?
Here are some of my favorite moments I've captured lately. Sorry for everyone who has been around me that didn't want their picture taken. I've went camera crazy. I didn't edit any of these, and still don't really have a clue what I'm doing. I am sure I'll eventually figure it all out. I will try to post at least once a week from now on because this was kind of crazy posting this many photos. I had 248 pictures in my camera from 2 weeks. Haha
