saturday at the beach

This past Saturday we headed up north to St. Joseph, Michigan with our best friends, Nate, Alli, and Naomi. We had been planning this trip all summer. We had planned to go another date, earlier in the summer, but it was pushed back even longer because of rainy weather. We really weren't sure if we were going to go because of Daylen's accident, but he had really improved, and we worried if we didn't go then, we just might not be able to go this summer. It turned out to be absolutely perfect beach weather! It was hot enough, it felt good to be in the water. The kids had a blast, and the adults too. I'm so glad we went. It was a perfect end to our summer. We are planning to go back next year already.

P.S. I still really, really need to get some photo editing software. Some of the color in these pictures I don't like at all.
